OPTION 2: ACTIVATE your MENU with the QR CODE:
For restaurateurs who want to use a more traditional technology that does not require their customers to download any App, + AUMENTA offers an alternative which, even if using the obsolete QR Code tool, is outlined on innovative elements.
The steps are easy:
- The customer scans the QR Code placed on his table and accesses the digital menu, complete with configurator.
- The customer selects the courses on the menu or, in case of a personalized offer (think of salads, sandwiches, ice creams, etc.), he has the possibility to select the desired ingredients, creating his own dish – this is made possible thanks to our configurator.
- The customer confirms the order by entering the number of his table and chooses whether to pay directly with his credit card or, according to the management of the restaurant, whether to ask for the bill at the table.
- In this case there won’t be the Augmented Reality service, because the technology is not integrated in the smartphones and requires the download of a specific App (+AUMENTA) in order to work.
- By accessing the digital menu, we give the restaurateur the choice of whether to activate the PUSH option. What does it mean? It means that the customer, when making the first order, will be able to choose whether to accept the option of receiving notices from the restaurant. Messages such as invitations, discount coupons, news, etc.
- As an additional option, we give the opportunity to make this interaction even more dynamic. By accessing the digital menu, we can create a direct link that looks like an App, to appear on the customer’s mobile phone. This, in reality, will be a Web link that will eliminate the need to use again a QR code to consult the digital menu. After the first experience, the customer will only have to click on the image on his smartphone to be able to access the service, without any kind of download.
